Love Kohls. Wasted visit. Everything I wanted was out of stock, but that's what I get for visiting the day after Christmas.
I have had multiple positive encounters with Kohl’s associates and have nothing negative to say about inside the store, BUT the parking lot that this Kohls resides in is an absolute circus. I have seen people grooming their dogs in the parking lot. There are many campers and cars with sunshades in the parking lot sleeping overnight. Overall, a sketchy vibe and feels borderline unsafe at nighttime in the poorly lit lot. Although it is not the responsibility of Kohls to maintain the parking lot, they are a powerful retailer and perhaps they could request the owner of the strip mall to actually enforce the posted parking lot policies.
Just had the warmest greeting and the best customer service from Chris at Kohl’s,, as soon as I walked into the store. I was having problems finding a Brita water bottle. Chris spend a good 15 minutes helping me find it online.
Thank you Chris for the excellent experience.
Wow I'm shocked this company is still in business. Zero service and when someone does answer you feel like you might get bit.
Also their pricing is whack... always a "sale" price. Is the sale price an actual sale price or is that their regular price just labeled as a sale???
This was my first time at this Kohl’s as well as my last time. As soon as I stepped into the store, I wanted to ask customer service a question on where to go to pick up a Kohls order. However, this older blonde cashier started yelling at me right away, interrupting the person she was currently serving, and gave me wrong directions on where to go without even asking what I needed help with.
I went to the other area of the store that she directed me to, only to be told I had to go back to the front desk to pick up my order and queue in a long line.
She was so rude to me that by the time I got up to the customer service desk, the lady working there apologized to me for her coworker’s behaviors and stated that she would have helped me if her coworker didn’t interrupt. I feel sorry for the nicer workers here that have to put up with and apologize for their other coworker.
I can see why department stores like Kohl’s aren’t as popular to shop at anymore. I’ll be ordering my home appliances from better stores.
This specific Kohl's is probably one of the larger ones I've been to. I went in to process an Amazon return, which is super convenient, and was quickly directed to the back of the store where the booth was located. The entire visit was quick, efficient, and easy. It's nice not having to worry about repacking your items before returning them.
The cashier and customer service staff at this location blew me off as a new Kohl’s cardholder. I opened my Kohl’s card about 1-2 weeks before.
I was traveling for business and left my card at home. My one-time 35% off was expiring on August 12, 2023 (the day I visited the store), so I wanted to take advantage of it.
There was a line at the registers with no one at the customer service desk. It was almost as if the store was understaffed. The first associate directly replied in a rude manner when I asked if there’s a way to look up my Kohl’s card if I didn’t bring it physically (I had Google’d the answer beforehand, but wanted to make sure). The first associate said “NO! We can’t look up your information without your Kohl’s card.”
Then almost immediately, another associate overheard the conversation and said “If you have your driver’s license, we can look it up!” … This is conflicting with the first associate’s answer! So, I decided to not work with the first associate whatsoever, going as far as letting the person behind me go first.
THEN when I got to the register with the second associate that said my information could be looked up by driver’s license, I informed her that I am a new Kohl’s cardholder and wanted to use my 35% off. She then said it’s only for the first day when I apply and get approved. This is definitely NOT what the offer terms said. Even in the welcome email. She then proceeded to say that they have a 30% off going on right now, asked for my driver’s license, and then processed the transaction.
Now, I no longer am eligible for the 35% off card offer promotion because it only works on the FIRST transaction. I got screwed over at this Kohl’s store. The company representative on the phone couldn’t help me with honoring the 35% off discount since he already saw a transaction on my card that happened minutes before. I’m so disappointed.
